I personally believe that a mother is God's most perfect gift to her children. And with Mother's Day coming up, I've been thinking of a meaningful way to celebrate the most wonderful mom I know --- mine of course! To each his own, ladies. :)
While my mother's day project is still in the making, I'd like to share with you guys a simple mini album I made for her birthday, in the hope that it will inspire you to make one for your mom or simply give you another option for a project.
Bought a ready-made box for the album
and avidly decorated it.
The perfect quote.
The cover page.
A perfect family picture. My mom loves our family
very much. So the rest of the album is filled with pictures
of all of us in the family and handwritten love messages.
A picture of my sister. No message yet but of course
she wrote one before we gave this to Mama.
My dad. He was really shy about writing his
message here. He knew I would post it for all the
world to see! :)
Just wanted to show how pretty this beaded flower was.
Got it from a local supply store here in the Philippines. :)
So this is her.. my beautiful, loving, selfless mom. :)
If I'll have even just a tenth of her patience and love
when I become a mom someday, I know I'll do just fine..
I hope you're getting good progress at coming up with or making your Mother's Day project. I've already started with mine, just a few finishing touches and I'll be ready to share it with the world. If you already have one, please take time to leave a comment with a link to your blog. I'd love to see it, I'm sure it will be very lovely!
Before ending this post, I'm really thrilled to share that I was chosen as the random comment winner over at
